This was a final piece I had created for one of my units in A level art. It's probably one of if not my favourite piece that I've worked on and is meant to represent a kind of abstract or different view of that of war and peace. I had written an essay on it as my evaluation of the piece and may submit that somewhere here too, perhaps in the journal. It was created in Illustrator and Photoshop and includes some scans of splattered paint that I used as brushes. Much of the inspiration for this piece came from works by Matthew Curry, the artist I used to focus on, and his work can be found at [link]
. Check it out, it's quite different and almost fantasy-like in some ways.
Also note that this isn't the actual size for the image, it was originally created at 60x60cm, and has more of an impact when viewed at this size...
